Meet Digital Marketing Manager, Kasey Tyring

By May 24, 2017

Vibrant Nation is excited to welcome our new Digital Marketing Manager, Kasey Tyring!

Prior to joining Vibrant Nation, Kasey lived in Las Vegas where she managed the online reputation and all social media platforms for Farheap Solutions Inc. Kasey spent her last semester of school working as PR Assistant at The London Fashion Agency in London, England. Kasey received her B.A. in Public Relations from Eastern Kentucky University.

Already knee deep in social content, she was generous enough to sit down with me for a quick interview. Here is what she had to say:

What influenced you to join Vibrant Nation?

I was looking for an agency in my hometown of Louisville, Kentucky and Vibrant Nation really stood out to me. Influencer Marketing is absolutely a key strategy that all brands, big and small, are incorporating into their marketing plans. The niche marketing aspect was a big draw for me – focusing on one thing and doing it extremely well. What really sealed the deal was how impressive, smart, and driven the team is.

What inspired you to pursue marketing?

I was encouraged to research the career path I intended to pursue in college, before attending. Already knowing my passions, reading and writing, I started there. I was definitely interested in the content creation aspect of marketing – especially for social media. Once I became more involved in my field, I quickly realized creating engaging content was only the half of it.

I learned to love data. Merging creativity and analytics to develop powerfully engaging content is fun for me. Partnering the two has made me successful.  Strategizing to build campaigns that connect brands with people is rewarding in itself. But seeing the work come to fruition and make a difference – that proof – it’s what really keeps me going.

How are your passions being tapped at Vibrant Nation?

Kasey Tyring, Digital Marketing Manager

As the digital marketing manager, I am growing the consumer facing audience through email marketing and social efforts under our new brand “Hello Vibrant”. My goal is to fine tune the new brand and keep our audience engaged as much as possible. I’m able to do that through our bi-weekly newsletter and our daily social push. In this position I have first-hand knowledge of what our demographic is positively responding to and engaging with. Working alongside client services, I am able to provide insights for future client campaigns.

Do you have an experience that really changed you?

I spent my last semester abroad interning at the London Fashion Agency. It’s amazing how quickly you run out of money there. I learned pretty quickly to become scrappy and budget minded, gaining confidence in my independence. Education is important to me and I appreciate the hard lessons I’ve learned. It helped launch my move to Las Vegas.

Can you share a lesson from your time in Las Vegas?

A big part of my job was online reputation management. Listening to your audience is the most important thing you can do in marketing. I was able to relay these needs through our internal channels and really capture those clients, generating a higher ROI.

What are you currently reading?

I’m currently juggling a few books! I love reading and my strategy is to usually read a heavy novel mixed in with some easier reads. I’m in the middle of “Atlas Shrugged”, by Ayn Rand, a philosophical fiction that’s pretty heavy to get into. I’m balancing that with “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil” by John Berendt, a true crime novel, and “Big Little Lies” by Liane Moriarty. It was just recently a hit on HBO.

As Digital Marketing Manager, Kasey works to enhance the reach and engagement of Hello Vibrant!, the consumer-facing brand of Vibrant Nation. In this role, Kasey has a true pulse on what our client’s audience is talking about and reacting to on a daily basis. With a strong background in social media marketing, organic content development, and strategy, Kasey produces viral and engaging content.
