If that happens to my mother, I’ll surely help out. She raised me and put me through college, and she’s planned her retirement out pretty well.  I’m doing everything in my power to make sure this doesn’t happen to me. But if it does, here’s hoping I raised my daughter to be the gem this woman’s son and daughter-in-law are.

Hi there, as you said “ she’s planned” and that’s all anyone could ask! Most children would. This lady was working, long time, if she knew  she would not have bought a home at this time. However, it was stated, mom did not spend her money wisely? She was not lazy, manipulating, just unwise about money. Since they both work (son n dnl), maybe she will care for the children, so they would not have to pay someone else, who knows. This is for us women to think about tomorrow, ,MY POINT!

I wanted to add somethings to this. Namely some women will not have the money, cause “mister” turned around and left, or was put out by right! More women live in poverty after divorce and training up children! I wish I had the answers but what I see on the horizon is not good. I can’t retire either. Just want to say and acknowledge that. :-/

I won’t have the money to retire …maybe ever and was divorced and brought up my two girls on my own. I think part of the answer might be in women helping each other.
