My first published article! I couldn’t wait to share this with everyone. It is an exciting thing for me. I’ve always wanted to write, and am just starting a novel, but now I am “published”!

i use a combo of shea butter and aloe vera moisturizer. Works great. I use shea butter on my lips, around my eyes and nose (dry areas), My father swears by vasoline.

It’s a very good article. Congratulations. Drinking loosens my tongue and I embarrass myself. One glass of wine or one drink is ok. Hope your life takes the turn you are wanting.

Your article was really good, TL aka Carolyn. You were absolutely unflinching in your personal honesty. My husband is what would be called “happy drunk”, but I know people like the ones you were describing – and the answers you found in your reflections felt genuine.

Very well said. Listening is very important in good communication. Putting our feelings aside while someone is trying to tell us something is a big part of the listening process.

I commend you for that article and it makes me know that I have chose the best thing not to drink , I would hate to image what I would say under the influence as I do a good job sober(LOL)…You really brought your points home an you have a warm way of making the reader really feel what you are saying ..keep it up I may have to get your autograph , before you get to big for us
Carolyn, great article with lots of great advice. We do learn through experience. I loved your thoughts on listening. I try to remind myself to do that and don’t do it nearly enough
so thanks for reminding me again:). We can learn so much from others, especially if they have a different point of view, if we just listen. And that alcohol doesn’t solve anything:). Congratulations on being published and for a really good article!
