As the daughter of a WWII veteran I learned of a hidden VA Pension that can represent up to a $23,000 tax-free resource to help pay for care of our veterans and their widows. I created a website www.veteranaid.org to educate and inform others about the Aid and Attendance portion of the VA’s Improved Pension. As a daughter who had run out of options, hope and resources to take care of my parents, I know the heartache, and I know I that everyday I am honored that my efforts make a difference.
