I’m looking for work online and it’s the hardest thing I have ever been through, line after line, email after email, calls, interviews, what is it that they want for these jobs that I am capable of doing…a younger face…a younger person with no experience… I still look ten years younger that women my age and better than some forty year olds and I will admit, I am 57…with lots of energy and people say it all the time to me…stylist,I guess I should finish my bachelors, with no money and a car ready to go to the grave…this is living girls…i gotta count my blessings, I still own my house that is not worth more than I paid for it two years ago…this is living….now what?

Susan, I know exactly what you are feeling. I am 53 and sometime feel devistated. I too am energetic and vibrant to ready to get things done. I haven’t been able to find a job for the past 6 months and I am just not ready to give up. I was fotunate enough to have substantial savings so I am buying a business. You know, it will greatly help if you complete your bio and VN questions so people can get to know you. The reason we are in this social network for over 50 is to support and find people our ages to work with. If I knew where you are located and what your background is I might even be able to help.
