Are you a mompreneur if your kids are grown?

There’s nothing quite like a group of moms.  We identify with each other, support one another and generally share what we know.

So, why is it I feel so weird in mom groups these days?

There’s a growing gulp between new moms (meaning moms with younger chlidren) and veteran moms (for lack of a better word).

I feel strangely disconnected because I

  • don’t have child care issue
  • dont have  work balance issue with the kids (hubby, maybe)
  • can’t fully relate to playdates, stroller, camps anymore
  • actually want to network around business

Is this me feeling like a sore thumb or have you also experienced this difference.

I am with you Dina. I totally understand. I am in a different space than those with kids. I have a blogging friend who is 20 years younger than me and in the throes of tweens. I read her blogs and just wonder how am I going to comment with-out sounding like I am so happy not to be her!
