Even the dogs will not go out. Not used to this weather, what is happening, global warming? Is the latter real? 35 in Miami is not a laughing matter. Will it snow? That will be news!

Hi Peacefully: Here in Canada everyone goes out for walks in the cold temps it’s healthier breathing the brisk clean air. You;ll sleep better at night. We are adopting 2 big adult very fluffy kitties I hope they will like to cuddle.
OK so just checked out what the 10 degrees celcius in fahrenheit and it is 50 degrees so really not a bad winter temperature at all. I have heather in bloom now.
Well what can I say to all of you. Here in Vancouver (where the Winter Olympics is being held) our temperature today was somewhere around 11 – 12 degrees. Remember, now that is celcius not fahrenheit but it is mild, warm weather. They have had to stockpile snow on one of the mountains where snowboarding will be held and are set to have the snow machines working.
I love Lifetime! Lol
texas is cold and rainny, we have 107 degrees in summer, and now with coats and umbrellas, we must take care of the flu, I mean the normal flu. Well it is about the global warming weather, so good to be in bed at 10 o clock, wish everybody has a warm coat and a comfortable place to live,
cute, 40? If you come to FL you see people wrapped up in coats, boots, gloves and even a Russian hat a coworker of mine wears when it gets 50.
They call it global weirding. A lot of people who never lived in warm climate do not realize how hard it is for people who live in temperate climates to tolerate even 60 degrees. When the temp drops as it has it is really a shocker. Here in Kansas it have been very cold too like much of the nation and I was so happy it got up to 40F today.
tomorrow better weather… it figures, i will be at work. Looking at Lifetime.. scary stories today… try it.
The problem in FL is that the houses aren’t built for staying warm………they’re built for staying cool. lol. My husband and I moved to the Tampa Bay area about a year ago, so we still have some winter clothes/coats from when we lived in VA. However, they’re hanging in the guest room, because most of the newer houses here have no coat closet. We have a fairly new house, so the HVAC system is good. The upside though, is that the cold here only lasts for a few days…….not a few months.
Well, they sell sancocho vegetables all cut up and frozen (usually where the frozen yuca is) and all you have to do is add meat, seasoning and water! Keep warm!
yes California is earthquake country. That one was 800 miles away from us. I wonder if the local weather man could explain the crazy weather.
You beat Had to carry my pug to the woods and sit her down by time she was done I had to carry her back to the house Today it is 18 so looks like a play outside day Love the warm weather Suppose to get up to 24 Snowshoeing here I come
I’m in Georgia, not too far from Florida, and it is COLD here, too! Brrrr! We live on a lake and it has frozen over which just doesn’t happen! A huge flock of geese flew in this afternoon and slid clear across the lake when they landed! It was really funny!! I threw them some cracked corn and they loved that! It’s suppose to be 51 on Monday. Thank goodness!
I just had a vacation, thank u, but heard of a 6.5 earthquake in Fresno. Trust u are far away from that. I think it will get better tomorrow at 53.
Today it was 72 degrees and sunny. Tomorrow it will be 76 degrees. I have extra rooms for guests. If you hurry you can be here by sun-up tomorrow. (smile)
WElcome to my world in Canada, we had -25 C today and very sunny! Yes we had soup for dinner! And my dogs goes out he loves the snow…real Canadian dog!
i went to the gym and hurried back home to bed. I only get up to eat. The house gets very cold, we are not used to this. We put the heat on for a little while to warm up the house then shut it off as it gets too hot, then 1/2 hour later the house is cold again, but we do not cook, if we did the main area will heat up. Maybe we should do a pot roast tomorrow. hummmm.
NINE? I will die! I went to Minnesota once and it was cold in May. I guess Michigan is the same. I guess u like it there? God bless u!
i do not cook and Mr. Marielitoman who does decided that there was chicken soup on the fridge if i wanted some to heat it. I have been in bed all day writing here as u can tell by all the posts. Now i want to eat something sweet… hummm maybe oreo cookie ice cream? He put the heat on now i am burning! Meno acting up again.
I live in central Florida on the East coast. We actually had sleet this afternoon. I couldn’t believe it. i wanted to get out and walk today but it was just too cold. 34 degrees now.
It is a little hard for me to complain since it was 9 degrees in Minnesota where my stepson lives. It wasn’t hard for my daughter in Miami to complain though. They are suffering!
Welcome to my world here in Northern Michigan It was -9 this am
Lynette, know how you feel. It was sleeting this morning here in the Tampa Bay area, and tonight it’s supposed to get down to 28. Our yard plants are all covered with sheets and blankets. Makes for some interesting post holiday decorations. lol.
I just made a great, hot, beef soup. Sancocho is nice for this weather too. Or, to stay warm, you can do what my PR husband does…..stay in bed. lol
As for global warming……….don’t get me started on that tonight………lol.
