Searching forever

by Suzanne Gabriel

I want you to know that I have never stopped.
I have searched every possibilty.
I want you to know, I will never give up.
I will die trying to find you.
You are my son, I had you in my arms for four days.
I remember your smile, your sweet baby smell.
I didn't know what to do.Do I keep you?
How would I take care of you.
I was told you would be adopted by a Doctor.
All lies, if the truth be told.
Then the day comes, when I thought I found you.
Oh joy, could it be true?
Disappointment reins, tears fall.
It seems like I will never find you.
Do you want me too?
Start again, new day, new search.
