		<description>&lt;p&gt;I just joined VN May 19 and your blog intriqued me so I have gone back - I don&#039;t know if you will ever get this note.&#160; I have never run rapids but I have canoed and kayaked once - totally loved it.&#160; I do know that water moving around an object makes noise and I would think it would be a different sound in the noise of fast moving water.&#160; I see a relationship between paddling strong &amp; straight(?) through the rapids and not listening to the noise of the water being the same as not listening to the noise in our heads.&#160; I think the important noise is different from the negative chatter just the same as the water around an obstacle is different from the rumble of moving fast.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
