“ Mr. Romney, your entitlement reform ideas are essential, but when will the incompetence stop?”
I think Thurston Howell, statement above wraps this up in a nut shell. Personally, I have no intentions of voting for Romney. He totally not in touch with what is going on in the United States middle class, or even in foreign countries i.,e Libya…”classic” example.
Hi Lovely Smile, and thank you for your comment. It’s gratifying to be in a group that remembers Thurston Howell. I loved Jim Backus.
More to the point, I am concerned that Governor Romney appears not to have done his research. This link, promulgated by the non-partisan Tax Policy Center is certainly a more accurate picture http://www.taxpolicycenter.org/taxtopics/federal-taxes-households.cfm
Further, this link, promulgated by the decidedly liberal Citizens for Tax Justice, is nonetheless an accurate depiction of all taxes paid. http://economix.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/04/13/just-how-progressive-is-the-tax-system/
Thank you again for your comment. It’s always a pleasure to chat with a Lovely Smile.
