Thank you read this with my coffee this morning! Laughing! My confession; I procrastinate! In 2007, I sent out Happy New Years cards instead of Christmas cards! BTW my friends though it was a brilliant idea! The good news in 2009; I can just mail the cards that did not get to the Post Office in 2008! BTW notice the time of this post? I had coffee at 06:00AM! Happy New Years in advance smiles!

SO appreciate your words, sounds just like me.  Only I don’t just procrastinate on Xmas, I do it all year.  Notice how long it took me to reply to this?  I’ve procrastinated so badly about the Xmas cards every year finally I gave up. And then even worse, I was shamed by BOTH of my kids: Wrote about it last year: Holiday Humiliation:

My Christmas confession this year is that I am having Costco lasagne for Christmas dinner!  I have two little grandaughters and a newborn grandaughter and I am sick of spending Christmas in the Kitchen!  I know some of my co-workers would be appalled so I’m not telling anybody; it’s my little secret, except of course for my family who will be eating it.

I feel better already getting that off my chest!

Spending time with your family is much more important than spending it in the kitchen!  Enjoy the time with your family and the lasagna, especially because someone else made it! Merry Christmas or Happy whatever else you choose to make this special time of year!

Way to go jforth, we’re having pizza and chinese.  We had enough holiday food this Thanksgiving.  We are spending time helping those in the shelters who don’t have a kitchen or food.

LOVE your confession and agree with the other commenters—you know what’s important and it’ sure isn’t the food.  I’m sure you will have a wonderful holidays with your family no matter what you eat,

      happy holidays!

DarrylP, If you don’t find those pictures you took in 2008, take some new ones, upload them to your email account and write a message to your friends and family and attach the pictutes to the message.

You could go to http://www.hallmark.com and send one of those cute “Hoops & Yo Yo” ecards.  Hallmark online also has ecards (and others links: wwwsmilebox.com, http://www.snapfish.com, and many more) that you can attach personal pictures to.

You could always invite your daughter over to help you.  She probably wouldn’t mind returning the favor.  Don’t beat yourself  up over this.

    Enjoy your holidays,

    Ewells7
