Just a note to those who read my posting, “Earthquakes vs. Snow.” It was written before the Haitian earthquake. It was in response to the small tremors in Northern California which being from Chicago seemed scary. Very bad timing that later the same day I posted my article I heard about Haiti. If I seemed insensitive and offended anyone I apologize, as it was sheer coincidence.
