The Cottonelle royal duo

“The Throne” is sometimes used as a pet name for that special seat in the bathroom. Not far from the throne in one of my bathrooms, stand the royal couple in the photo above.

And so in honor of the throne and in honor of my royal couple, I like the name “The Royal Duo” for the Cottonelle Clean Routine:  Ultra Comfort Care Toilet Paper and Fresh Care Flushable Wipes.

The toilet paper is sturdy, soft, and absorbent. It’s embossed with vertical lines that I suppose have a more scientific purpose, but they remind me of elegant ribbon that a princess might wear as a sash on her ball gown. Let’s hear it for powder room elegance.

The wipes are sturdy yet soft too. They don’t have a strong scent or any hint of a nasty substance that could sting. And you can flush them down the throne. Many wipes meant for bathroom use are not flushable. These are.

Trumpet blasts and a curtsy to the Royal Cottonelle Duo!

Photos:  My fairy tale prince and princess were stitched forty years ago by Doris Kaufmann, a good friend of my mom. Above my throne (below) are antique linens, a tin bucket holding my old buttons, and a stocking darner made by my great-grandfather.
