Today’s Daily Good comes from a letter to the editor expressing a thanks by a WWII vet who wore his WWII veterans jacket while having lunch. He asked the waiter for his ticket and was told “Your bill’s been paid by a person who saw your jacket and wanted to thank you for your service.”

I like this. When I see a serviceman, fireman or policeman in the market or restaurant, I usually stop and tell them “I just want to thank you for your service to this country”. I never thought about buying their lunch or whatever they’ve buying in the grocery store. I’m going to do that the next time I get the chance. Such a nice story. Thanks for sharing.
