It was 19 degrees when I woke up here in Katy this morning. As I was laying in bed I was wondering why I saw flickering shadows on the vertical blinds in my master bedroom. I looked outside and realized that the area where our deck had been was filled with water. Silly me, I thought it had rained and somehow I’d not realized it. Oh no, I was wrong. Instead we had a pipe break. Looking at the cup half full, at least the break wasn’t in the house. So now, Doug is at Home Depot getting what he needs to repair it. Thanks goodness he’s handy and we should be able to turn the water on again in a couple of hours.
Now, onto to something completely ridiculous. Did anybody see Kate Gosselin and her new look? It’s hard to miss. It’s on the cover of People magazine and on CNN. Now, instead of sporting her asymmetrical “do”, she spent $7,000 on hair extensions- $7,000 ! It also took 20 hours to do. It’s her money and it doesn’t affect my life. That just seems really ridiculous to me. She said she needed a “change- a fresh start”. I could get really fresh for $7,000. i use a combo of shea butter and aloe vera moisturizer. Works great. I use shea butter on my lips, around my eyes and nose (dry areas), My father swears by vasoline.
