The Hermitage, in Nashville, TN is just about 125 miles south of Avalon Stained Glass School and Creativity Center in Munfordville, KY and on a recent Monday we drove down there and it was a wonderful place to see. To read all about it please click here.

And a good time was had by all; how about that fun-filled Trail of Tears? Now that’s a day trip!
A monument to a vile and despicable man.
Human nature has and will probably never change. Each of us in any generation has done many wrongs. Yet he was the only president to ever make sure our nation became debt free.
The trail of tears is truly a shame and no one could have been more ashamed of our nation than I after reading Bury my Heart at Wounded Knee.
The trip to the Hermitage was a good day for me and I enjoyed seeing a section of our American history.
