Christmas the time for giving and many of us are finding that the Christmas of 2008 is going to be a tight one.
Basically, though I like Christmas and all the things that go with it, I really do not like the commercialism that has developed over the last half century and with that in mind I really do not go out for Christmas in a big way. Of course my family says I make up for it all year long by making a little Christmas whenever I think someone needs it. Though this article was written for Christmas 2008 it is still a worthwhile read.
