IT’S SPRING!! Over the weekend the vernal equinox occurred, when the length of our days become equal, (and going forward longer), with the length of night. Rejuvenation and rebirth are everywhere. What is your rejuvenation project? I know—you like yourself just the way you are. REALLY? Exactly the way you are?
We change, the world changes, and part of our AgingButDangerous philosophy is to stay in step with the universe. Ever changing knowledge feeds the soul. In many cases our automobiles and our homes get more maintenance than our “containers” or our brains. Just because you have been doing something for years doesn’t mean that there shouldn’t be a little upgrade in your future.

I love new ideas and trying new things, driving somewhere using a different route, trying a new food from the Farmer’s Market each week, reading something I wouldn’t normally read and every year I try one new thing. This year my one new thing is to go deeper. I’m a smörgåsbord approach to life kind of girl, so going deeper is new for me.
Today I am going to give birth to sexy. I have on khakis, a tee shirt and hiking boots. I’m going to add diamond studs, red lipstick and a kick ass confident attitude.

i have wanted to get back to horseback riding, and i did a yr ago after 38 yrs, i ride a friends barrel horse to keep him in shape she rides her new horse. even had the courage to go and particpate in a barrel race clinic…surprised everyone there how well i rode! I knew deep down i could but FEAR is the Devil and will beat you everytime.
Loved this post!!! I am finding that “change” is good and we only benefit from it. I know, took me awhile!!! Also I am a Spring “child” born on April 23rd, so this feels natural. I have changed my attitude, going positive and avoiding gossip (thanks to watermusic!). I have taken on wearing red, bangles or chunky necklaces and have given myself permission to touch people when I talk to them…..Posture too: walk with my bak straight…such small things and what a difference!!!
