  • To The BlogHersphere and Beyond - Part I

What a weekend!  What a weekend I had at the 2010 BlogHer conference in NYC.  Two days in the BlogHersphere was like two days in heaven.  I met old friends.  I met new friends.  But, most of all, I was inspired, invigorated, and energized by the 2500 women (and some men) in attendance at this year's conference.  Read all about it.

  • Following the Right Roads in Life

Life Coach Martha Beck says "everyone's road in life is different" and that "our entire life is a road."  We have "joy," which are good roads and suffering, which are the wrong roads, however Martha says they can lead to great learning. And then, there are the "10 Roads to the Right Life" that sound appealing...

  • My Boogie Board Adventures

I am an official boogie board owner.  My boyfriend L treated me to an official boogie board at the local surf shop in town during our mini vacation at my condo on the corner at the shore. It was a 'do nothing' vacation. We were in slow motion, except for when I was riding the waves...or trying to ride the waves on my new Wave Board.

According to a 2008 Gallup survey, researchers found that "Enjoyment and happiness decrease gradually until we hit 50, rise steadily for the next 25 years, and then decline very slightly at the end, but they never reach the low point of our early 50s."

  • Springing Into Fashion

Soon it will be summer and I haven't even "geared up" for the spring fashion season yet.  I need to back track on my InStyle and Vogue magazines and see what I need to buy...or pull out of my closet from years past when the same fashion trends were trendy.
