Every vibrant woman is an expert at something! Why not share what you know well with other Vibrant Nation members in the form of a list?
- Pick the topic you’re most passionate about right now.
- Create a new post, listing the most important things you want other vibrant women to know about that topic.
- Briefly describe the benefit of each one–or what makes it so special.
For example, if you’re an avid gardener, you might post a list of favorite things (“my favorite gardening books,” “essential tools for new gardeners”) or you can list how-to advice (“tips for raised-bed gardening”).
That’s it! Your VN sisters will see your advice lists when they browse the site, read VN email newsletters, or visit us on Facebook – and they’ll post their follow-up comments or questions. (To make sure you’re subscribed to comments, click here.)
Happy listmaking!

Wonderful idea to share what we are passionate about. For me, I help women navigate the seas of chronic illness. Together, we celebrate the successes and acknowledge the challenges that surface. I assist women as they build a healthy relationship with their bodies during times of uncertain health. As an art therapist, and as a woman who has lived 35 of my 52 years with a chronic illness, I feel passionate about sharing the wisdom I’ve gained over the years. I feel empowered to share my love of the expressive arts with others as they travel through and amidst rocky seas. Please feel free to write me about my work or and, my experience with chronic illness. Peace in body, mind and spirit. Victoria Check out my blog at art2heal.blogspot.com
Sealovery,
You certainly provide a fine service for women in distress! During a serious illness such help is so needed! Wonderful!
I’m not sure how my “passion” has helped others’, but it sure has helped me!
I love to paint! I have chosen acrylics and oils as my medium. I have my studio right off of my kitchen because plenty of ‘washing up’ is needed! I am self taught and copied Hallmark Greeting Cards in the beginning. Copying is a superb way to learn and is how many masters have started. This helped me to learn how to use paints and various finishes. I read all I could find about the ‘how to’s’ of painting. Eventually, I went from Hallmark Greeting Cards to copying from photos. This was more of a challenge, but very rewarding work.
I have found painting to be very fulfilling to my creative urges. When I paint, all worries and concerns are lifted. Each painting seems to speak to me, my own creation takes on a life of its own! When we have house guests, they walk around admiring and commenting on my work…I have paintings all over the house! I’m often asked to sell certain paintings, but I can’t sell them! I do give paintings, as gifts, and I do commissions when I have time. My family member’s have asked me to write their names on their favorites!
I find painting to be creative, meditative, inspiring, fulfilling and entertaining! When we were “setting up housekeeping’ as newlyweds, I wanted unique, one of a kind, wall hangings! I found my answer in creating my own canvases! My husband framed them and I hung them!
I’d like to contribute on a regular basis to Vibrant Nation. I’m a bit confused, though.
Are you still promoting the “Blog Circle”? I never quite “got” the idea of that, but do still see the regulars showing up.
Are the Love/List It concepts a replacement or change-up for VN?
Hi Fran! That’s wonderful news, so glad to hear you’re interested in contributing regularly.
To answer your question, love it/live it advice lists are not a replacement for the Blog Circle posts; they’re just one type of VN content, and they can be contributed by any VN member.
Our Blog Circle – VN bloggers – are a subset of VN’s membership. VN bloggers usually have a blog outside VN and contribute posts to VN on a regular schedule. Here’s a post where I try to explain Our Blog Circle’s role within VN:
