Sundance Film Festival

I am going to Sundance for the first time in January.

Anyone have any tips on how to make this a fun trip when tackling crowds and weather?? I’m submitting my name for tickets in the lottery in Sept., but I’m ready to stand on waitlist lines if necessary.

We went to Sundance about 15 years ago. Made the mistake thinking we could ski during the day and see movies starting at 10 PM.  So if you don’t make that mistake some movies start at midnight and others in the afternoon so important to schedule your time and sleep! Park City can be cold, that’s all I am saying about that!

Thanks, Haralee for your feedback. Speaking of the weather, I’m thinking layers of clothing is the solution but then you run into extra luggage and that can add up $$$.. Haven’t hit the slopes in years so I’m going to just focus on films. I’ve read sleep and keeping healthy are 2 important issues most people face.  Don’t want to come down with a bad cold and feel lousy the whole time.
