How many of us stop after a busy and sometimes hectic summer to step outside and take time to look around at the fall season perhaps watch the leaves change colors? I have found that for me to do this and even take a walk and look at all the new fall colors has been very refreshing it allows me to take in the beauty that is all around and what it says to me is that I am a new season filled with newness of color and peace. What lesson I find in this is we are all entering into a new season in our lives. As we find ourselves getting a little bit older each year Fall allows us to stop and reflect on the newness of our lives and how refreshing our lives are this is a time to enjoy all that is around us. It is easier to appreciate it more now the changes around us in the fall season and in our lives then when we were younger. When we are young we are finding ourselves always in a hurry now we can stop and take time to take in all the beauty of being older.

Fall is my favorite time of year. The colors although are from dying leaves are so vibrant and beautiful I really feel alive in the fall.
Fall is also my favorite time of year. In fact, I always wish it would last longer. I try to always make time to visit a few parks and enjoy the leaves. It’s always nice to see the pumpkins and the fall decorations.
…i love each season with all they bring…fall is indeed beautiful with vibrant red and orange coloring…great to get out and take a walk through tree-lined streets and parks, listen to the birds sing..watch the sun rise/set….just love outdoors!!!
I must admit I too am a total Autumn person. I do not like summer, Spring is okay and Winter is alright, but Fall to me, I come alive. I am an Autumn person by birth and my colors. I look forward to Fall all year. Fall for me is the “moment”. The smells, the colors, the freshness. Homemade foods from the Harvest and handmade creations from gloriuos fabrics and fibers. Apples, figs and cinnamon. Hot cider and decorating. Putting the Englsih gardens to bed but yet waking the fall flowers so they can do their thing in the Indian summer sunshine. To me Autumn has always ment new beginnings.
Fall has always been my favorite season. I come alive in Fall! (Hot, humid weather has always been my nemesis.) The colors remind me of a tapestry, or an old velvet patchwork quilt. And the smells…crisp apples, cinnamon, cider, pumpkin – think I’ll go for a walk, kick some leaves, and have a cup of spiced cider when I come home!
