Today os the last day of the Olympics and I find myself watching the accomplishments of the athletes in tears. I am not usually one who watches alot of sports on TV but I have this past two weeks. Why is it affecting me so much? I think it is because this entire experience represents the stories of dreams that have become reality: Heart, Determination and Excellence in one’s personal growth. I am a feeling kind of woman so it is impossible for me not to be affected when I see the validation of people who have done their best in this moment. While the end result doesn’t always include a medal it does include a connection whether that be a hug or a reassuring word from friends and family. I am proud to be Canadian but even more than that I am proud to be a woman of heart and spirit who has the potential to daily live my olympic best as a human being, being human with the extension of love and kindness! Sometimes we forget how important our individual journeys are and these past two weeks have helped remind me to daily reach for the best there in is in me to be. I do Believe!

Note from Satori to Satori,
Do a better job of editing. I apologize for the typo in the above message… os=is. It is perfectly imperfect and a reminder to self to get the eyes checked again and the glasses changed. What is this about the fiflties and eye challenges?
Have a great day. Satori3
I Believe too! I think personal bests are really exciting. Very proud of all the Canadians, and other countries like China on the podium for curling. It’s been exciting, I actually don’t think I can take anymore!!
I’m especially proud of the women.
The women have been awesome! You are so right!
What’s it going to be Canada or US? right now, it’s 2-2. Exciting.
It is a nail biter for sure. Congrats to both teams. It is exciting for Sidney Crosby too… he lives about one hour and a half from here.
I’m excited, the Canadians won. Win-win for us with Canadian family. YES!
