Roadrunner - absolutely nothing drastic about it. When you first get the botox (forehead and eyes) you will see a change that will level off in a few days or one week. It looks completely natural. You CANNOT frown no matter how hard you try! Be very 
Cynicism is something that I have to struggle with from time to time when I feel as if I am trying to swim upstream against the current like a salmon while attempting to work for what I believe to be a change for the good. I feel like it’s me against the world. Then I see something so innocent but so powerful that it renews me, like watching a baby trying to walk on his own. No matter how many times he falls down, he never says, “oh, what’s the use, I’ll never be able to walk so why try?” No, he just keeps getting up and trying again. What’s our excuse?
Broken hearts.
I didn’t used to be a cynic but I do find myself slipping into the groove. There is just so much phony emoting in our world today. Everyone ‘cares’ so much about you and that lasts about one day and then they move on to the next new cause. Don’t get me wrong, I am surrounded by loving family and friends but I still find myself doubting a lot of what I see and hear these days. And I have lived long enough to know that a whole lot of love stories do not end up unhappily no matter how much you try to change the outcome. And I see the same wonder cures and aide concerts that are going to change the world come around for the second and third time and nothing has changed.
But despite that I am still moved by many simple things in nature and in the actions of people I love so maybe…. maybe I am more practical and straight seeing than cynical?
