I start each morning by thanking GOD for blessing and protecting me through the night. I NEVER eat a meal without first thanking him for nourishing my body and asking him to bless the hands that prepared the meal – be it bread, milk, etc. because others had their hands in packaging, etc. – even though I try to cook most of the meals I eat myself. I try to remember that when I see someone who is worse off than myself – there but for the Grace of God Go I. I try to give to the homeless because it could have been me and I have a son who is by himself in another state. I thank GOD each day for watching over my son and blessing him with the care and safety that he has received because my son is schizophrenic and tends to not be able to think for himself. GOD blessed him with a social worker who watches over him and protects him and makes sure my son has medical care so he stays on his meds. Through GOD my son has an air-conditioned apartment for only $200/month that includes gas and electricity. Through GOD my son has a home where others don’t and he has friends to make sure that he stays on his meds and eats regularly.
GOD is ALWAYS present in my life. Sometimes I get anxious and worried about what my future holds, but then I remember that GOD didn’t bring me this far to let me down – and that my my anxiousness and nervousness is just the enemy trying to break me down. I am sure HE has another plan for me that only HE knows and I rely on that – OTHERWISE I’D LOSE MY FREAKIN’ MIND!!! I end each night before I go to sleep with thanking GOD for seeing me through the day – for blessing me with being a blessing to someone. I remind GOD that I AM HIS CHILD and HE IS MY PROTECTOR – MY LIFE IS HIS and therefore HE IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR IT!!! and I thank GOD for it.
God is as real to me as my next door neighbor, I could not have made it this far in my career or married life without the wisdom He imparts and His word that lead and guides me. I am a born again christain and proud of it. I pray to God , the son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit daily as I go about my chores or just sitting in the wonderful sunshine of the day! I know, also that God did not bring me this far to let me down, He didn’t promise us a quiet journey, just a safe arrivel. He loves all His children the same, and gave His only son to die for our sins, that we could have eternal life with Him someday! PTL
