Not sure where you got the idea that Obama is against tax cuts. He cut payroll taxes last year (a campaign promise) under the stimulus bill and proposed keeping the Bush tax cuts, that are due to expire this year, in place for all but the two highest income levels.
It might be very obvious, but I’m hoping that he has finally realized that taking more money out of our pockets – the rich or the poor – will not help create jobs!
Or, maybe, he’s realizing that the house and senate will soon no longer have a Democratic majority!
