”Coffee Party” is being started just by regular people – it really is grass roots – would take a lot longer to get folks involved and at a rally. The “Tea Party” was started by Fox News and they used their media to advertise everything and specific corporate groups had people bussed in to rally – sort of fake set up to always make it look bigger then it is at a rally.

Folks who would join the “Coffee Party” are not likely to gather until more is involved – plus not many folks know about it yet. I think some people got together and said lets put this on Facebook and see what happens and they got a lot of interest in a short period of time.

there are several different “tea parties”.  A couple of them are supported and backed by the Republican party…but there is one called the Tea Party Patriots that is really a party of the people.  My husband is involved and is spending all day today in Sacramento at the rally.  No one is bussing people in.  Everyone is invited, as long as they behave themselves.  And if they don’t, no matter who they are, will be kindly asked to step across the street.  There are plenty of police and security , keeping the peace.  I wish more people knew the facts, and didn’t just accept the biased reports they hear on tv. I actually haven’t heard anything on Facebook about the “Coffee Party”, and sadly, I am on there everyday!  I think I need to hear more about who they are before I back them….=]
