Over the years, I’ve built a list of wines I think are special. To be special and make the list, they must be affordable, very drinkable and easily found.
— 2007 Melini Chianti Classico
— 2007 Las Rocas Garnacha
— Estancia Cabernet or Pinot Noir, any year
— Chateau St. Jean Pinot Noir, any year
— 2008 Francis Coppola Pinot Noir
— 2007 Juan Gil Jumilla
— 2005 Muga Reserva Unfiltered Rioja

Wow, quite a list…I can’t drink wine…I get immense headaches from it.
uh…try drinking just one glass instead of 3!
Ooops….we live in New York state wine country…..but really Nam, even one glass makes me sick…..the exception being a local estate white wine called Love Drops…..(somehow I feel this is going to go downhill from here…)
I don’t like the taste of Any wine I have tried; all tastes the same. Sure miss “Thunderbird” tho (no, I didn’t drink it, LOL)
I can tolerate Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon
Love any kind of red wine! But i can only have one glass, many two with dinner. More than that I’ll get very silly and very sick. LOL
Love Drops, I love it! Oh the places you could take that name …
Spain makes great red wines in the $10 range that doesn’t leave me with a headache. The 2007 Juan Gill Jumilla and the 2007 Las Rocas Garnacha are a couple of great wine secrets. I’ve seen them listed on restaurant wine lists at $40, but you can find them at liquor stores for about $10.
