I’m retiring from teaching ‘itty bitties’ in June. I’m interested in volunteering at an orphanage in Haiti for 3-6 mos. a year. Does anyone have a suggestion as to where to begin making connections? from moving foreward

I’m sure there will be many organizations wanting people to go to Haiti to help. Your area Red Cross could give you information, as Samaratan’s Purse and y(http://www.samaritanspurse.org/) many of your local churches. Just make sure they are creditable organizations (all the above are) for your safety. You are an awesome lady!
