Is “giving back” a part of your work life? Vibrant Nation has interviewed many women who’ve made “giving back” an integral part of their lives. For example:
- Pamela Pipes remained in New Orleans after the devastation Hurricane Katrina brought. She stepped up to the plate in ways she’d never before imagined, and eventually dedicated herself to educating others about the storms devastating affects.
- Connie Duckworth founded a not-for-profit organization that connects weavers in Afghanistan to the global marketplace — and empowers women and their families to break the cycle of poverty.
- Sherre Calouri has combined her love of adventurous travel and her passion for service by working with FEMA in disaster relief and “voluntouring,” which allows her to make meaningful connections while contributing to every place she visits.
We’ve seen this desire to make work meaningful, do good works, and help others in every Vibrant woman’s story. How are you “giving back”?
