When I went to the opening of the Nora and Delia Ephron play Love, Loss, and What I Wore, I was very happy because I had bought a red faux-fur jacket in a thrift store in New Jersey for $5. And I wore that, and I didn’t even want to take it off all night because I thought it was absolutely gorgeous.
I thought I looked like Barbra Streisand, 1960. But it really was right, because everybody else looked so Armani. I liked it. It looked like I had an attitude but you couldn’t tell.
I kept the receipt in my pocket so I could show people. I was so proud of my $5 find! And I wore black under it. And heels and fishnets.

I like your purchase! Nothing better than a thrife store find, my favorite place to shop. If I ever get in a place so I can sell second-hand, it will be “TRACKS RE-RUNS”
Sorry I didn’t answer before. I get computer confused.
I’ll be the first on line at your store!
I’ll bet you looked divine! Clever you!
I’m going to see 39 Hours, in L.A., next month…hmmm. Even they have chilly evenings! I wonder if that jacket is still around?
Sell it to you for $6. HA Ha
Excellent! Well done!
Dr. She sounds like a James Bond girl.
