My newest book, “Gringa in a Strange Land,” is about a young woman artist deep in the “counterculture” in Mexico. Those who were young during the rollercoast road in the 60′s and 70′s will, I guarantee, find something to relate to.

Just wondering if you wrote a book about a middle aged woman who sells up her family home and discovers an artist commune in the desert? I read it years ago and have forgotten the title and author and have looked for it ever since. Your new book has a similar theme.
