Had my first children’s book published called “Gramma’s Stories” by Dorothy Stringfellow.

I wanted to leave a little something of myself to my children and grandchildren, so I put some of the stories I had written over the years about my children and grandchildren together and got them published. I had a good response also from friends who bought copies and gave me some really good encouragement. I hope The Lord brings back my confidence that I lost when I got very sick and ended up in the hospital for almost a month. I love to write and feel I have so much to share.

I love the title…..wish I had thought of it first! =]   Great idea….stories and memories are often forgotten if not written down….I wish my Mom would write down hers….then they would be enjoyed for generations to come…..=]

I think that is great La…..I started over 12 years ago and self published my first children book which is a series. …but have not published anymore to the others , but I am in the process of making that happen….I have done a number of special editions of the first…. I have a special one named BUD and BABY  about my two first grandsons, some of the funny things that they did growing up…..Keep writing and doing what you love and I wish you the best!!

I think it is great that you are leaving a legacy for your grandchildren.

Congratulations, Dorothy, I see the book is listed on Amazon. Are you able to create an author’s page there? What a wonderful way to share stories with and about your family.
