A real fashion magazine for women over 50!

Hello Ladies

I’m a student graduate looking to launch a magazine for women aged 50+ based around fashion, travel, families, food and anything else that you feel this type of magazine really needs!
I realise that there is a huge gap in the market for this type of magazine, something beautiful and sophisticated for those of you who don’t feel that getting older means forgetting about fashion and beauty.

Now I need YOU to really tell me what you would like to see in my magazine!

Do you want easy reading or something a little more intellectual and cultural?

What are you interested in reading and do you want to see more celebrities your age?

Please let me know what you think!

Thankyou :)

    Good for you! Good Luck.
Women over 50 I think read best sellers in fiction and nonfiction just like everyone else.
If you are looking for a travel direction, traveling solo or with another woman not a romantic or couple centric destination or tips.
Fashion, remember affordable. Many magazines show high end and while that is fun to look at,  fashion trends that are affordable is always a nice touch.
Who doesn’t like food? Many women over 50 either cook or bake or they don’t. Those that do want interesting recipes that you don’t need a passport and co-signer to find the ingredients nor those that  incorporate ready mixes.

What Haralee said, plus, possibly, columns on spiritual and/or emotional growth (still important at our age!) as well as, possibly, political stuff (but, then, maybe that’s just me…).  Health and general well-being should be included, and don’t forget that we – like any other demographic – run the gamut from fit and healthy to barely exercising.  Fashion should include both regular and large sizes.

I wish you all the best and let us know when it happens! ♥

    Dear Becca,

I wish you much success with your latest venture!

I have started what I consider a special beauty blog just this past month with emphasis on both inner, spiritual growth and outer beauty. I think they work synergistically. Let me know if I can help.
