my bio

I just recently turned fifty, became an "almost" empty nester (youngest in college - home during the summer) and quit a job after 10 years to start my own business in desktop publishing. (www.creativeofficeguru.com) I'm not sure if this is the result of a hot flash or a mid-life crisis, but my leap-of-faith still feels right to me.

I am also involved in community theater - usually as an actor, but I also love to hunt down props - or make them!  I am a crafter - right now there is a resurgence in Sock Monkey popularity so that's my current "kick."
