my bio

I was born in 1951, which places me smack in the middle of the baby boomer generation. I grew up in Houston in a family very much like the Cleavers on Leave it to Beaver, except my dad was self-employed and my mom drank-a lot. After UT and art school I worked as an art director and illustrator for 7 yrs. I married in 1982 and am still married to the same guy with whom I'm usually happy. We've got 2 great grown kids and 6 dogs. I've been a pre-school teacher, taxi driver, hot air balloon pilot, loan officer and custom home builder. I usually find humor in most things. I started my blog, bodaciousboomer.com last July. Please visit anytime and let me know how I'm doing.
