my VN interview

  • How did you get to where you are now?

I created my own program for recovery after a 25 year marriage.  I got strong physically, which led to a new inner strength. I started my own business and slowly reinvented my life from the inside out. When I started to feel the result of all the changes I made, I wrote a book about it to share my journey with other women over 50 who were feeling invisible and obsolete. FABULOUS AFTER FIFTY, STILL SEXY AT 60.

  • How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

I see myself stronger, much more confident about my assets as a human being.  I've learned that I can be alone and independent, in control of my life and choices.

  • Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

In ten years, I will be 77 years old. I hope to be able to look back on my life and know that I did something to enlighten my daughters about their own potential. Perhaps I will be remembered as a loving supportive woman who believed that helping others and sharing information is the only life worth living.

a postcard to my younger self

My dear girl, things are not always what they seem to be.

my role models

Every mother who surrendered her own needs in favor of her husband and family. My grandmother who believed that family is a sacred commitment. My sister.  Every woman who has overcome the boundaries set for her by others. Working mothers and  women who fight for the rights of other women. Hilary Clinton, Gloria Steinem
