my bio

Wow, I'm sure everyone feels the same when I say, I don't know where to start.  At 57 I find myself a single mother of 7! 4 Adopted special needs children 14-12-11 and 9 years old, 1 biological son 18, his young fiance' 17 and their (albeit way too early of a choice) beautiful daughter 12 months old.   All still living at home.  Lot's and lots of experiences, some good, of course, some not so good but usually boils back to my own decisions in life.  At this point I'm  * Very happy with my life but still see room for improvement! *

• How did you get to where you are now?

  95% by my own choices in life.

• How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

  I'm back in control of my own and my childrens future.

• Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

  Even happier, more secure and proud of my progress.  And, on a vacation of my dreams in Italy!!!  LOL

a postcard to my younger self

Oh my dear, you had so much raw talent and ambition.  Had you only been able to see beyond that small town mentality and being taught that being a wife and mother was the ONLY thing you SHOULD aspire to!  Don't waste all your youth on trying to make the picket fence come true, build it yourself!!!!!!
