I'm a vibrant Baby Boomer chick dedicated to enlivening how we think about aging. It's time to learn the skills and resources to keep our energies high, connect with our inner artist and turn our second half of life into a time of purpose, joy and abundance.

Second Chance at Your Dream is my sixth book and it's full of energy exercises I've used to transform negativity into opportunities.

• How did you get to where you are now?

  I'm a counselor and really enjoy writing down what I learn from my interactions with my clients. I'm learning to nurture the inner artist within me.

• How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

  I'm much more fun-loving, not so driven, just here to enjoy iife. Being a Baby Boomer is fun!

• Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Dear younger D., you used to worry so much about what later life would be like. Well I can tell you it's a lot better than you ever imagined. Trust the work you did every day to connect within, meditate and do your energy psychology exercises. All of it worked to create a wonder-filled life!

my role models

Maya Angelou for sure! She is such a vibrant poet and person, I can't get enough of her. I like Michelle Obama too--she seems to have good sense and is not stuffy in any way.
