my bio
I'm the author of Sixtyfive Roses: A Sister's Memoir, and owe my writing life to the International Women's Writing Guild. I'm a native Canadian who now lives within sight of Manhattan, and spent more than 20 years as a professional actor before turning to writing. I have cooked Thanksgiving dinner for the entire cast of a Broadway musical in a hotel room while on the road in Baltimore, and can prescribe the right self-help book to anyone I've known for more than five minutes. My friends advise not to ask for my opinion unless you want it, as I will give it to you. Most times, in fact, you don't have to ask. I am married to the love of my life. my VN interview
-
How did you get to where you are now?
I took my mother's advice, put my head down, and kept putting one foot in front of the other.
-
How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?
I'm fifteen pounds heavier and have a better sense of humor. I grow more "damn the torpedos" with every day.
-
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I believe in living in the present moment.
