My 4 favorite book blogs

  1. Most wide-ranging taste: Stacy’s books

Stacy’s Books is a very eclectic blog. She reads and reviews a wide variety of genres. She likes to read series books but has a thing about reading them in order. I especially like her author interviews she calls “9 in ‘09″. She has introduced me to several new authors through these interviews. Most Mondays Stacy will post a contest. These contests are not easy, at least for me. I have yet to get one right but it’s always fun trying. And if that weren’t enough, Stacy also loves movies. She has a list on her blog of her Top 100 and she reviews them from time to time. If you don’t already follow Stacy, go check here out.

  2. Beautifully written blog: Fleur Fisher Reads

I always check on Jane at Fleur Fisher Reads. It’s a beautiful literary experience. Most of the books she reads I’ve never heard of before. She makes me want to read anything she picks up. She has a passion for the Persephone Books she collects. I’m determined to own one now. She is the most prolific of library book borrowers. Usually she brings home three to five books a week! But the best thing about reading Fleur Fisher is her writing. I’m not a good enough writer to explain how good she is. You just need to go and read for yourself.

  3. Best really new blog: A Few Minutes With Michael

For my third choice I’d like to mention a new blogger. A Few Minutes With Michael has only been up and running for three months but he already has me and quite a few others reading him every day. His open cheerfulness and his sense of humor have endeared him to me. I can already see that he is a caring young dad who is sending a book around the world in 80 days for his baby to experience some day. And then he has me (and my husband) reading Screenplays. Screenplays? Yes, it’s a first for me but loads of fun so far. Most people could not see me reading or watching Fast Times at Ridgemont High but here I am doing it. Go visit Michael and spend a few minutes with him. You’ll see what I mean.

  4. The most fun to read: The Bumbles

How could anyone not love The Bumbles? Molly and Andy are enjoying their life to the maximum and sharing it daily on their blog. They love movies and books and music and sports and travel and photography and good food and the list goes on and on. This is a blog that makes me laugh, or at least smile broadly, every time I visit. Their sense of humor just hits me where I need it. This is an all around fun blog to read. You have to check out the Bumbles.

These are four of my favorites that I visit-every-day. What are your favorite blogs?
