While on vacation we don’t always have access to a gym, and we don’t necessarily want to spend an hour every day exercising! In this video, I demonstrate how you can get a great cardio interval workout (that’s short bursts of higher intensity exercise followed by recovery periods) with no equipment whatsoever.

Wow, thanks for sharing! Any tips on how to get rid of back fat?
Hi birdlover,
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but there are no exercises that will get rid of fat in a specific place (the exception is abdominal fat, but that’s a whole different story). Where you store your body fat is genetic, how much you’re carrying around is mainly due to lifestyle.
To decrease your back fat, consider a full body strength training program using weights that fatigue you. You can certainly add in exercises for your back like assisted pull ups, lat pull downs or horizontal rows. These won’t decrease your back fat, but they’ll tone and strengthen the muscles in your back. Combine a solid strength training program with cardiovascular workouts and consider making some of those workouts “interval training”. Interval training has been shown in research studies to be better for body fat loss Finally, decrease your portions of high calorie foods and load up on vegetables and fruits. This will decrease your calorie intake a bit, which will help you lose fat (decrease your calorie intake too much, and you’ll lose muscle–not good).
Hope this helps.
