4 exercises for stronger knees after 50 Hot Conversation

After 50, achy knees can make it harder to do traditional exercises such as lunges or squats. Here are four of my favorite exercises that you can do at home to strengthen your hips and thighs – and decrease knee pain.

    Thanks Becky, I can do regular exercise, but it is good to know how to strengthen the knees, while around the house,,,i hope the VN women get a chance to see your video,,,very good.

    Becky, thank you so much! This is exactly what I need. I broke both legs in February and they have healed great, but in the process of getting back on my feet, I reactivated an old ACL/medial meniscus injury from my college days. X-rays show no new damage, no arthritis. But the pain was horrible. I’ve been off it for a week and it has much improved, so right now I’m trying to strengthen the area to avoid injury again. I’m trying not to rush things.

    thank you – my knees are already quite damaged from arthritis, but the more I move the better in the long run.  These exercises are great.

    These are great exercises Becky, thanks.  I used to be very athletic but now I need two full knee replacements.  I have difficulty walking and standing for long periods.  I hope to have the surgery next summer.
