We’ve got so much to celebrate! In just one year, our community has grown into the largest online gathering place exclusively for women over 50. Best of all, we’ve done this organically, attracting other women like ourselves who recognize how much we have to give one another.
As we’ve grown, we’ve noticed that when it comes to online communities, size does matter. When Lynnette initiated a conversation about giving wisely to the people of Haiti, for example, we got great suggestions from a number of members who have direct ties to Haiti. In fact, given the depth and breadth of our membership, virtually every conversation on any subject — from relationships to cosmetics to the meaning of life — now finds someone with insider knowledge, experience, or at the very least an “atta girl” on the issue at hand.
Along with the value we have given and received as individuals, there has also been an equally important shared mission. Our growing numbers have demonstrated to the world that far from the invisibility and marginalization experienced by generations of women past as they aged, our member are a force to be reckoned with. In fact, VibrantNation.com is proud of the role we’ve played in making sure marketers, politicians and the media take the power and potential of women 50+ seriously.
As we celebrate our progress, we ask for your support in helping us spread the good vibes to the women in your circle of family, friends and associates who would both benefit from and contribute to the Vibrant Nation community. We are looking for women like you — smart, passionate women who you think should know about us.
We’ve set a goal for our First Anniversary Membership Drive. We’d like to double the size of our community in just one week. That means if each one of us attracted one new member this week, we could double the size of our community and leverage this into national visibility for our cause!
