Sleeveless after 50 – pro or con?

yes…..I want to know more about it too! ….sounds like so much fun….and exercise too …now that’s a great combo in my book!
I started taking my first Zumba class last week, I am not a great dancer at all, but it was fun and I felt I burned some calories. Lot of hip action… give it a try!!
The instructor was so graceful, I hope I look like her in 10 weeks, LOL!
Haven’t tried Zumba, as there are not enough regular classes in my area. I’m a big fan of Jazzercise, however, and attend regularly. In fact, I’m training to become an instructor. Either way, dancing is so much fun that it doesn’t feel like exercise.
love it – have been going since september – try to go twice a week. our instructor isgreat – her energy is catching! and most of the women are over 40 – i am 52 – so that’s great. was always nervous of trying something like that – afraid of looking foolish. i guess that’s part of growing older – not worrying about things like that – we know that it doesn’t matter. i just wish i could whirl my hips like the instructor does!! anyone out there who is thinking of trying it – go for it. the music that we dance to is great. night everyone.
Glad to see lots of ladies “of a certain age” are trying Zumba! I’ve just taken my first 3 classes last week and will definitely continue. I notice lots of age range in my class and usually plenty of laughter along with lots of good cardio! Love the music, too!
Went once. Absolutly LOVED it. Easy. No need to follow all the moves, most women don’t. Go your own pace, dance and have fun, fun, fun. Of course there were a lot of hip women from our local hospital there. It was hilarious! A class just started last week in a room at the hospital. It’s just a 10 minute walk from my house and the hours are perfect for my working schedule. Can’t wait to get started next week. Excellent workout. Women of all sizes and ages. Of course the athltetic ones in the front and me in the back with my co-workers. That’s perfect for me.
