Hi Moongoddess,
Up 3 pounds to 185. Oh well.
Sing with me:
Could’a been the pizza… Might’a been the cake… Could’a been McDonalds or Tim’s..
I don’t know…Just look at the weight I’ve gained.
My mind will have to focus… My legs run even harrrder..
Tell me me oh me oh my… Wasn’t that a party?

That’s great anir;
It’s time to lose, the time is right.
How we do it is the only plight.
But we will persevere,
we only need to get in gear.
Being our best is really near.
Hummmmm…………
I don’t have a poem and loved reading and singing the ones posted! I do want to share these clips…some funny and some very informative. I could spend hours at these sites! No time though! Hugs to all and I’ve posted my weight…no changes! ugh xo’s

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJq2RRY1Gyk ”Fat” People Facts…a very good series! I want to watch more of this. There are many good tips/reminders!
Those are precious. What I take away is: 100 calories extra a day = 10# a year. Ronald McDonald is a BAD CLOWN and stay away from that ride ;^). I was very tempted to see the world’s loudest fart vidio but restrained myself. Too early in the morning.
Hugs and have a great day. Also, had a question for you in the my cat thread. (won’t bore everyone with it here)
I know, the “fart” video tempted me, too…but no, I didn’t go there!
I’ll head over to the cat thread! I’m so sloppy, distracted most of the time (case of ADD)and age, I forget to check back on threads. Hopeless!
Hugs to you too!!
Ooohhh… I wanna sing, too! Here we go…
The Most Delicious Weight Loss Recipe Ever!
Take a pound of motivation
and a teaspoonful of hope,
add a pinch of organization,
one slice of cantelope,
some raspberries and peaches,
a pinch of lemon zest,
some spinach and some broccoli,
an egg, fresh from the nest,
a gallon jug of water,
one square of chocolate (dark!),
a salmon steak,
some veggies, baked,
an optional shard of shark,
mix in one cup of applesauce
(no sugar added, please),
combine it with some olive oil
to aid the bend of knees,
a quarter cup of walnuts,
some green tea and some flax,
add 5 or 6 small meals each day,
and, if you want, 2 snacks,
fold in at least one half an hour
of daily exercise
to tone the body’s muscles
and melt those thunder thighs,
no alcohol, but if you must,
a glass of wine with dinner,
add custom vitamins from Trump
and surely you’ll get thinner,
their Silhouette Solution line
will stoke your fire with protein,
and fill you up, and keep you going,
and help your colon stay clean,
and lest you think the task too hard,
remember in the process,
it’s not perfection that you seek,
but slow and steady progress,
we all will falter now and then,
so heed this remonstration:
combine those fats and sugars with
a ton of moderation,
and to all these ingredients,
you’ll need the proper attitude,
be sure to sprinkle in each day
a huge helping of gratitude,
balance is key, take it from me,
so order that burger with fries,
but do not undermine your efforts
by telling yourself lies,
while once or twice a month is fine,
don’t make fried food a habit,
it’s so much better for your body
if you eat more like a rabbit,
fill up on veggies, fruits and nuts,
whole grains, legumes and dried beans,
drink lots of water, get some rest,
and don’t forget the protein,
then laugh, and love, and live your life,
and please, always remember –
to keep yourself whole,
you must feed your soul,
December through November,
So, take it slow — deep breath — there you go –
‘though you may have a nestful,
some work, some play,
then sprinkle through the day
some moments that are restful,
’cause stress can undermine it all,
so eliminate the fretwork,
Here’s to your health!
and as for your wealth…
come join me in Trump Network!
heehee… that was fun!
I do not have a poem – just a comment that seems to apply to dieting as well as many other aspects of life.

mg, please update the links in your opening post. What’s there now for the progress report is incorrect. Here’s the correction (copy and paste into Friday’s post):

I can’t go back in the opening post. Should I start a new one? Should I wait for these from you before I post in the future?
The link only changed because I started a new spreadsheet when I removed the names of those who were no longer posting. It shouldn’t change after this. Just use the new links in Friday’s new post. Thanks.
Gotcha!
Hi trumpnetwork,
I find myself too busy to spend on here at the time. And I don’t feel like I’m connecting with my sisters here. A lot is going on in my life besides the moving, though that is the basis for my “mood”. I’m going to take a break and be back later when things settle down for me. Would you please continue this for us? You do a great job and everyone’s efforts are appreciated. Of course, I’ll report my weight progress. I believe that this is really helping. When I report, I have to be honest with myself.
Thanks everyone!
MG
Sure thing, moongoddess. I hope your life settles down soon and you can come back to us with renewed vigor and commitment!
This is some great information from Author Talia. A book recommendation and a food that will help with your appetite. Enjoy!
