Hi reddynamo, sorry to hear of diagnoses, can you share your symptoms and how it was found? All the best wishes for a good recovery.
I just had a mastectomy ( 6 weeks ago) , and I have a skin “stretcher” for reconstruction, later I will have inplant.
I would like to hear from others with same procedure, will the inplants be softer, more comfortable etc??
I am a 5 year State IIIC survivor. I have been through the 1st round with Carbo/Taxol. 2 1/2 year remission, then 1st recurrence and had an allergic reaction to Carboplatin so finished with Taxol only. 2 recurrence did a Clinical trial with Doxil and have been in a 14 month remission since! It’s not a place we all wanted to be, but I enjoy everyday like it’s my last. I fundraise for my Cancer center and always give back. That is what makes me happy!
