Surgery to repair fallen bladder Most Liked Hot Conversation

Has anyone here had this surgery?

I have been told i need it…but would like to relate to other women about it….

My doctor will use a type of human skin, not the mesh for this…

    Hi Bren:
I had this type of surgery done about 7 years ago and mine was the Mesh Kind where the mesh sling was inserted to hold the bladder in place.  I have had leaking bladder problems since my late 30′s and it just got worse where I had to wear sanitary pads all the time. I could not run or do aerobics or even sneeze withouth peeing my pants.  I was so glad when this surgery was suggested after the diagnose was made that my bladder had fallen.  It was done on a outpatient procedure.  I was in the hospital at 8am and was home at 2pm.  Just a mild discomfort for a couple of days really and I was back to work and back to my normal routine except no heavy lifting for 6 weeks after the surgery.  No more leakage!!   Best decision ever to get the surgery done!

      Hi Bren:
I did not know of anybody having the surgery when I had mine done.  I was 45 years old when I had it done.  I had no choice because of the severe leakage and I never did hear any bad stories about it.  What age group are you in?

All will be well with your surgery and you will feel so much better. No need for serious cleaning. Most important is for you to be in your best health for surgery. Christmas shopping can be done in a day with gift cards always appreciated never the wrong size. Your friends and family want you well, healthy and your better self . This is your time for self improvement so quite worrying about others and concentrate on yourself. You are uniquely important and deserve to be your best

Just stumbled upon your post, and as a candidate for bladder repair, I’m wondering if you got a good result. I surely hope so. What was the name of your procedure? Looking forward to learning more from you…
