right after meopause I started gaining a spare tire..I had never had any kind of stomach before so this was all new to me.I do sit-ups and crunches and yoga stretches.also,I walk and bike..It doesn;t seem to have an effect on the stomach.
Your belly exercises are toning up your belly muscles. But that has nothing to do with the fat. Your belly is where the body stores its reserve energy. So the fat wants to build up there first. It’s also the most dangerous fat to have, healthwise, because of its proximity to the internal organs. Your walking and biking should be enough if you’re doing it on a daily basis. I relied on “You On a Diet” for this info, and for reducing my belly by 8 inches this past year.
It’s not about “belly fat,” no matter how much hype that is getting. It is about fat. You cannot spot reduce; you can only reduce. And that is really difficult post- menopause. You must eat less. And learn to love your new rounder self.
There is an Amazing Weight Loss System that Targets The Core of the Body which we all know is the stomach area. Let me know if you would like to hear more information.
Now that we baby boomers are becoming middle aged I notice there is a huge marketing swipe at the fact we are ALL (ALL) developing belly fat. Among women, this is a predictable and recognizable body change after menopause, comparable to body changes at adolescence. Unlike 5th grade, when we girls were ushered into a meeting with our moms, introduced to feminine hygiene and prepared for body changes, there is no provision for preparing us for body changes. Some sources say that 15 pounds of post-menopause weight has a biologically adaptive function of providing small amounts of estrogen. Culturally, women of our age have been revered as Crones, and the belly fat is an ‘apron of wisdom.’
As much as I would love that to be MY culture, I have learned that the belly fat looks dumpy and I am resisting it with diet and exercise. I’m getting used to this roundness where I have always been proud of my flat stomach. I tell myself this is NATURAL and I refuse to buy into marketing that makes me think it is not.
I say we use a website such as this to remind ourselves to be healthy. Excercise and get five fruits or vegetables every day. Do some volunteer work and only focus on the navel during meditation.
All I know is that Core4 Targets the Core of our body, which is our stomach area and people who are Not like me and have Never had a weight problem Are Getting Results and anyone who is interested in hearing more just let me know and I will send you to a place on the internet where you can see testamonies as well and see before and after Pictures and you can judge for yourself.
