What age would you be if you didn’t know how old you were?

Perhaps you are thinking about a generation or ago. You would be retiring and "winding" down at 59, but times are different. You are probably much more "with it" than in those days, your health is better but due to economics going to work longeI gave up wheat and sugar in my early twenties and except for social occasions where pizza or pasta or birthday cake are served, or the long hike that earns me a piece of chocolate, I've stuck with that plan. I'm not a naturally lean person, which 
Evie and Doris, I'm so with you on this. My dad used to say, "Family is everything," but when he died, so did the family. Or, to apply the loveliness of the Holmes poetry, after horrendous abuse, I just drifted away. Family is an accident of birth. L

I am a lot older than you and can only tell you my feelings, around family, as I've aged.
My childhood was rough and my parents made so many mistakes, alcoholism, neglect, etc. For many years I resented them for giving me such a poor 
45. Old enough to have acquired some wisdom and young enough to still look like a BABE!
I would be 40. It was my best age. I looked the best. Was feeling really good.It was my best decade. I didn’t start falling apart until I was 60.
Hello ladies, 45 yrs old, but i look best now. It must be the genes. I get ask out by 40 yr olds, and i am 60, ha, ha! love it!
I am 52 now and i stopped counting my age once i hit 40 and loving every minute of it!
I would be 16 but I’m 63. I put on the Beetles and all the 60′s music and sing and dance around like a teenager. Like Track, I get asked out by 40 year olds. My son is exactly 20 years younger than me and everyone thinks I’m his girlfriend. One day he asked me Do I look really old or what?. Although I take this as a compliment it just causes me more problems. Men my age are looking for way younger women. Women my age get really mad when a sales clerk asks me if my mother would like this or that. My friends are my age or 2-3 years older. It’s so embarrasing!!! Then these women don’t want me to go with them anywhere especially to singles dances!!! My own sister is 7 years younger than me and when introduced to someone we try not to mention she’s my sister. Everyone assumes or asks if she’s the older sister. She goes to places without me and I’m sure this is the reason. So looking younger hasn’t had too many advantages for me.
Give your sister kisses for me, and call on me to go out. Original party animal, no I didn’t dress like a 30 yrs old. I take care and the gift of the genes.

I’am 65 and full younger. I like to dance around to the 60′s music to.
I’ll be 58 in April and I’m told that I look like I’m in my early forties. I don’t think it’s because I’m anything special. I think its because I’ve taken care of my skin. I don’t smoke, the damage is irreparable both inside and out. I don’t stay in the sun without protection. Eliminates that leather skin. I drink alcohol moderately if at all. Drinking is another awful way to age yourself fast. But, and it’s a big butt, I tend to carry 20lbs over and I don’t exercise regularly. If I did, I might look younger still. I am the oldest at my workplace. The next is 30yrs old. I am always reminded of how old I am. Not in a mean way. It is what it is. I try not to let it define me. Guess I could spend time volunteering in the nursing home. It’s about the same difference and I would really feel young. Age is relivant ; )
Ps. I don’t get asked out (I’m married) but people sometimes think I’m the trophy wife. With kids 35,33,21&19, I’ts easy to believe.

I’m turning 60 this February and loving it. What I really am grateful for is my mother’s wisdom. She said one day,at the age of 72,”you know darling, it’s a funny thing, age, sometimes I feel like 23, or 50, and sometimes I feel like 90.” She went on to explain that you feel what age you feel, depending on a whole lot of factors, and they change from day to day. How lucky we are.So I love all ther days I feel like a little kid, a teenager full of angst, a young sexy woman, and precisely 60. It’s all o.k. with me. I lived hard, and I’v lived hard. I toast to another 60 years more.
I am 55, but everyone has always said that I look at least 10 years younger, so…..45. I feel about there also…before that I was too insecure and judgemental about myself to really be happy…I finally started not caring what others thought,mostly, and choosing to be what I know God wants me to be. =]
I think I would be over 30 but not 35, I was very happy at this age and looked great, I am 57 I work out regularly plus yoga! But I loved my thirties…. oh to know then what I know now!
I’ll be turning 52 on Dec. 24th and I feel like I’m in my thirties – well, except for the occasional pain that I never had before! LOL! I read in a magazine a while back for women over 40, and this was from the editor – she stated she is in her f…u fifties! I kinda like that line (and use it) because I have the confidence now that I never had and really at this point in my life don’t take a lot of crap. I’ve earned my life stripes!
